Ex-member of Newsboys now rocking alone

He’s part of Newsboys, you can’t fool me!
Actually he isn’t anymore. He left quite about two years back to pursue the ministry started with his wife called “deliberatepeople”, based around giving people solid Biblical based devotions and music that builds them up as people deliberately following God’s plan for their lives.
So he’s a preacher man now?
Yes, in a sense, but he’s also still a musician and he’s recently released a new album called “The new normal”.
Based on past experience it’s probably available for free somewhere right?
Ehhh… It was! Up until last week the new album was freely downloadable from noisetrade.com but it’s been removed now… (sad violin music). You’ll have to go and visit his website (http://deliberatepeople.com) to take a listen!
What kind of music is it?
It’s a great mix of modern rock similar to newsboys but with less synthesizers. There’s the passionate “Shout” and energetic “DWYL” as well as laid back songs like “Pink Elephant” about things we allow into our lives that seem good at the time but distract us from God. It’s an album that has an obvious ministry focus and yet sounds really good too. If it was an album you had to buy I’d still recommend it but because you could get it for free missing out on it is considered a criminal offence in some states in America!
